The Taurasi DOCG Vigna Piano D'Angeloo” it is a wine with an intense ruby red color and a broad and fruity aroma, which recalls the scents of plums and cherries and the fragrances of the hilly undergrowth that characterize the Taurasian territories. The vines that supply the grapes from which it is extracted grow on a sandy and volcanic soil, which gives them strength and resistance, and are raised through a specific system called spurred cordon, characterized by a type of short pruning that is based exclusively on the environmental, geographical and plant parameters that distinguish the type of plant cultivated, its location and the climatic conditions to which it is subjected.a.

Timing, processing methods and uses
The harvest time goes from the first to the third decade of November and concerns about 4000 plants per hectare, which reach a production of around 50 quintals. After the period of harvesting and pressing, it is stored for 4 months in French barriques and for 18 months in large barrels of 500 liters each. Once bottled, a two-year refinement period elapses. In its optimal conditions it has an alcohol content that fluctuates between a percentage of 13.5 and 14.5 vol. and releases a dry and soft flavor, with a good concentration of elegant tannins, with a very long persistence that amplifies the primary scents of the grape itself. It is easy to combine with red meats, braised meats, game and aged cheeses and should be served at a temperature of 18 degrees.
